OSTRACA 1 - 13 Audio files from the studio recording of my opera HERESY were broken up and fragmented in software. These musical fragments were placed across a midi keyboard and then played into sequencing software. Unrecognisably new pieces were formed from this re-assemblage.
New rhythms and harmonies were layered in afterwards to complete.

An ostracon is a fragment of ancient pottery, usually broken off from a vase, that has an inscription scratched onto it.

TO KNOW AGAIN completes the Ostracon series and references it.
GHOST PLAYHOUSE - an abandoned derelict performance space and its long history.
