Sonically, this one is so adventurous, and listening to it is like eating a rich chocolate cake. You can tell that the days of EK's spare Casio waltzes were just about behind him. I think it's the use of percussion that truly sets it apart. Despite supposed plans for another volume after this, this was the last major China Doll release. After all, "Tszrnikowskiyarrh China Doll" just doesn't have a good ring to it.
